Welcome to the home of Balena Park, based between Jamestown & Redhill, in the Mid North of South Australia.

Our family began showing and breeding horses over 40 years ago. Our main aim was to produce a quality pony which not only looked good, but has the temperament suitable for a child.

One of the first major colts that we purchased was a Pure Arab called Colmarem Wimmera whom was by the magnificent Ralvon Pilgrim, Cole (as he was known to us) produced us many beautiful mares to start our major breeding programme off.

We were then lucky enough to purchase the most magnificent little colt in Owendale Napoleon who was by the lovely imported colt Sir Percy of Paxhall. Polie was a 12h black colt who had the most impeccable temperament . We have bred and kept many mares from this little fellow. Unfortunately we had to have him put down a few years back.

We then purchased a colt called Mirrinda Little Toff who was out of the very well known Keston Royal Occasion (imp. Dec.) and after the passing of our husband and father it was with regret that we sold him to Chandelle Morrison of Cherrishwood Stud in Vic, and he is doing beautifully

After a few years without a stallion we have know decided to continue on with our breeding programme and have since purchased another beautiful Yearling colt in Kolbeach Regent.

And have also bred a colt out of Balena Touch of Spring and by the magnificent Oakvale Serenade, he is bay/black and will mature to about 12.2 - 12.3h and is a Stunner!!  Look out for him at the end of 2007 !!
